UFC Fight Night 73 Preliminary Odds: Oluwale Bamgbose Battles Uriah Hall

The UFC Fight Night 73 card is this Saturday and the show features a full card of 13 fights.  The preliminary action is topped off by undefeated Oluwale Bamgbose (5-0) as he takes on veteran Uriah Hall (10-5) in a middleweight fight.  Hall was one of the hottest fighters coming to the UFC from “The Ultimate Fighter” TV show, but he lost in the finals to Kelvin Gastelum and he has gone a rocky 3-2 in the UFC since.

The undercard also features women’s bantamweight stand-out Sara McMann (8-2) as she faces off against Amanda Nunes (10-4).  McMann is an Olympic-level wrestler who is crossing over to MMA late and is already 34 years old, but she is still a stud athlete. However, she is coming off a loss to Meisha Tate and she has gone 1-2 in her last three fights, so she needs a win.  Nunez is 3-1 in the UFC and is coming off a win over veteran Shayna Baszler in her last outing.  A win over McMann would leave Nunez in position for a title shot.

In the flyweight division, Willis Gates (12-5) faces off against Dustin Ortiz (14-4).  Ortiz is coming off a loss to divisional top dog Joseph Benavides where he took the “Team Alpha Male” product the distance.  Gates is coming off a 90-second KO in his last outing that pushed his record to 1-1 in the UFC.
