The UFC on FOX 15 card comes to us this weekend with a full, 11-fight UFC card. In our latest video blog, we review the odds for the six bouts on the undercard supporting the Lyoto Machida versus Luke Rockhold main event.
The principal fight on the undercard comes in the light heavyweight division, where Patrick Cummins takes on Ovince St. Preux. It is a fight between two guys who have quietly put together solid streaks, as Cummins has won three fights in a row since debuting in the UFC with a loss to Daniel Cormier, while St Preux is 6-1 in his last seven and is coming off a win over Murilo Rua in Brazil.
Also in the light heavyweight division, Gian Villante (12-5) takes on undefeated Corey Anderson (5-0).
One match to keep an eye on comes at bantamweight, where Aljamain Sterling (10-0) gets his step up fight facing veteran Takeya Mizugaki (20-8-2). Mizugaki had a solid five-fight winning streak snapped when he was stopped by Dominick Cruz in about one minute. With Mizugaki having fought with the WEC and the UFC since 2009, his competition level and experience are his biggest advantage over Sterling.
In the welterweight division, veterans Tim Means (23-6-1) and George Sullivan (16-3) meet. Sullivan is a prospect from the northeast who has gone 2-0 in the UFC so far, while Means has put together a nice three-fight winning streak. With both men already in their thirties, neither can afford a momentum breaking loss.
