UFN 90 Undercard Odds For July 7

UFN 90 Undercard Odds

UFN 90 Undercard Odds – The UFC is kicking off their biggest week in history, and it starts on Thursday with the Fight Night 90 card.

The card is headlined by the lightweight title fight between champion Rafael Dos Anjos and challenger Eddie Alvarez and the undercard fights all have very close lines.

The welterweight division sees Alan Jouban (13-4) facing undefeated Belal Muhammad (9-0). Jouban is 4-2 in the UFC and he will need to use that “big fight” experience against his rival in this one. Despite his impressive record, Muhammad is making his debut with the UFC, and his biggest win came against former WSOF stand-out Steve Carl, whome Muhammad beat for the Titan FC promotion’s welterweight title in his last outing.

An interesting Lightweight match-up sees Mitch Clarke (11-3) taking on “Irish” Joe Duffy (14-2). Both men are coming off losses and looking to right the ship. Duffy lost to Dustin Poirier in his last fight, while Clarke lost to Michael Chiesa the last time we saw him. Duffy is 2-1 in the UFC, and his hopes for the big time hang with his November of 2010 win over Conor McGregor on Ireland’s Cage Warriors.  Not getting by Poirier was a big setback, as McGregor waxed the Louisiana native when the two of them met. Clarke went the distance with Chiesa but he has been on the sidelines for more than a year since then.

Another tight welterweight bout is on the card as veteran Mike Pyle (27-11-1) takes on undefeated Alberto Mina (12-0). Pyle is now 40 years old, so he is not going to evolve as a fighter, but he is a tough gritty veteran who is looking to win his second fight of 2016 here, while Mina has been relatively inactive, going just 2-0 in the last two years.

The UFC matchmakers deserve credit for this show, and in fact this weekend. Nearly 80 fighters from the UFC roster are scheduled to fight in the next three days and right now, all of the nearly 40 fights have lines that do not exceed a -500 favorite, and that is unusual over the course of three shows.
