Oregon, Arizona, Georgia Tech, BYU and Missouri were among the biggest losers in Week 4 as all five teams dropped from the AP Top 25 following losses. The upset alert is on again this weekend as a handful of other teams will be looking to avoid some landmines.
Should Ohio State Be Cautious With Indiana?
The Buckeyes barely had to break a sweat to beat up on Western Michigan in a 38-12 win last weekend to improve to 4-0. They’ve now won 17 straight games dating back to last season but so far this season, they haven’t dominated in the way that some experts thought they would. Their quarterbacking has been very average and many people aren’t sure exactly how they’ll do once the schedule gets tougher.
The Buckeyes will travel this week for a date with a fellow undefeated Big Ten team in Indiana and while they are 21-point favorites, we like the Hoosiers to cover and give themselves a chance to actually win this game at home. There is no question that the Buckeyes are clearly the most talented team in the country but it beat Northern Illinois by a touchdown at home, so maybe they stumble again this week and finally fall. The upset alert will be on at kickoff in Bloomington on Saturday.
Notre Dame Faces Tough Test At Clemson
Anybody that is wondering why undefeated Notre Dame is on upset alert this weekend can look at last week’s score at halftime when they led UMass 21-20. The Fighting Irish managed to pull out the 62-27 win after a much better second half but the bottom line is that they allowed UMass to hang around for two quarters before turning it up. And remember their last road trip? They needed a miracle to pull it out at Virginia. No. 12 Clemson is certainly a much more dangerous opponent. The Tigers had an extra week to prepare for this game coming off a bye week following their win over Louisville and it shouldn’t surprise too many people if the Tigers win this game outright.

Alabama Has To Be Sharp In Visit To Georgia
The Tide bounced back from their first loss of the season with a lopsided 34-0 win over Louisiana Monroe in which they flexed their defensive muscle. They held the Warhawks to 92 total yards but they will face a much more difficult test this weekend when they travel to take on No. 9 Georgia. The Bulldogs are 4-0 and are looking to make a statement out of the SEC East. It feels like every year, Georgia has one of these “prove it” type of games and consistently fails. With star running back Nick Chubb looking dominant so far, can they ride him to victory? Everyone says the jury is still out on Georgia quarterback Greyson Lambert but come Saturday, we’ll find out everything we need to know. Georgia has the weapons on both sides of the football to give Alabama a tough test at Sanford Stadium but the question remains execution. Can they put it all together and spring the upset?
Texas A&M Hosts Upstart Bulldogs
Mississippi State will be a seven-point underdog when they visit No. 14 Texas A&M this weekend but a loss would be a big blemish on what has so far been a perfect season (4-0). The Bulldogs were outgained by Auburn last week but found a way to win that game thanks to some big stops. Now all eyes will be on them as they try to do the same thing to the Aggies. Texas A&M managed to rally late against Arkansas and then won in overtime to stay undefeated but after another close call, there is some skepticism as to how good they really are. We can see that in the betting line as A&M is at home and is ranked, yet the Bulldogs have a legitimate shot to win this game. Let’s see if A&M is for real.
