The Vaqueros are hoping for a better outcome after their 69-64 loss to the East Carolina Pirates in their last matchup. East Carolina’s effective field goal percentage was their biggest strength over UT Rio Grande Valley. The Pirates had a rate of 0.543 (above their season average of 0.479), while the Vaqueros posted a mark of 0.324 (below their season average of 0.461).
