The Cleveland State Vikings (8-18) face the Valparaiso Crusaders (21-5) at the Quicken Loans Arena. Action gets underway at 7:00 pm ET on Tuesday, Feb. 16 and can be seen on ES3.
The Vikings were victorious over Youngstown State 64-59 on Saturday. Demonte Flannigan led all scorers on the team with 30 points on 10-for-13 shooting. The Crusaders, meanwhile, are coming off a tough 61-59 loss against Wright State on Saturday. Keith Carter had a good game for Valparaiso, registering 10 points, six assists, and three steals.
Over the last five games, Flannigan has been playing at a high level for the Vikings. During that stretch, he has averaged 19.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 0.6 three-pointers.
The Vikings might struggle to find the bottom of the net as they face off against one of the nation’s best defenses.
