The No. 4 Virginia Cavaliers (8-0) try to remain perfect when they square off with the VCU Rams (7-2) at John Paul Jones Arena. The game starts at 1:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, December 9, 2018, and will air on ESPN 3.

In the Rams’ last matchup, they topped the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs, 69-57. VCU had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (45.9 vs. 32.4) and had a better effective field goal percentage (0.483 vs. 0.433). With 16 points on 6-for-14 shooting, Issac Vann was the top scorer from either team.

The Cavaliers had no trouble getting past the Towson Tigers in their last contest, 73-42.
