Video Blog: Metamoris 5 Grappling Results

Saturday afternoon in San Diego, Calif. the all-grappling Metamoris 5 went down with a main event featuring MMA legends Renzo Gracie and Kazushi Sakuraba engaging in a match nearly 15 years after they first met.

Our veteran blogger Miguel Iturrate has been reviewing the Metamoris grappling events for several months now, and for this event a $500 bank roll was opened and bets were placed on the five feature matches on the card.  Now, the rules of Metamoris are prone to draws, as the competitor must finish his opponent with a submission to earn the victory.  There are no points awarded and matches going the distance are draws.

To prove the point, Iturrate bet all $500 on draws, betting $100 on each feature fight ending in a draw.  The results of the card are in, and there were changes in the line-up and a fight labelled a ‘secret fight’ was also held between Jake Shields and Roberto Satoshi, but the end results proved out blogger right.  Five of the six fights ended in a draw.

With almost $900 in profit in the bank, we will now combine the grappling betting with the normal COmbat Sports Betting blogs in our continuing series.  Check out the details on the Metamoris 5 in this latest video blog:
