This weekend, the UFC is in Brazil with their Fight Night 58 event headlined by Lyoto Machida taking on CB Dolloway in a middleweight fight. Right now at the books, Machida, who is a former Light Heavyweight Champion is a big favorite at (-600) over Dolloway, who is returning at (+450). The over/under on what is expected to be a five round fight sits at 2.5 rounds, with the over paying (+110) and the under returning at (-140).
Machida needs to win to avoid a second loss in a row. He dropped his last outing to Chris Weidman in a title fight at middleweight, and he showed that he needced work if he is going to earn another shot. Since that is Machida’s stated goal, he needs a win to avoid a momentum crippling 2 fight losing streak, while Dolloway has won two fights in a row, but this is his most difficult opponent to date and he has failed in step up fights before.
Also on the card is former Bantamweight Champion Renan Barao, as he tries to snap a string of bad luck facing the out-matched Mitch Gagnon. Barao is a huge favorite at (-750), with the comeback on Gagnon at (+525).
The rest of the card does feature lines that are a bit closer. Here we run down the odds and the over/under for the six fights on the main card:
