The UFC reality show ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ ends it’s 20th season on Wednesday as Carla Esparza faces Jessica Penne and Randa Markos squares off against Rose Namajunas to determine who will advance to the finals, which are Friday.
The majority of the bouts on Friday are in the women’s straw-weight division, as the season concentrated on the newest division in the UFC. There are a total of six women fights already with odds at the books, and the matches are also offering the over/under betting. The card is made up of women who appeared on the 20th season of the reality show, and if you have watched the show, you have seen many of theme compete in the ‘exhibition’ matches that the show presents. Several men’s fights are on the card as well, and those matches are reviewed in a separate blog.
Here we review the lines for the six fights as they stand today. Of course, the winners of the above mentioned WED matches that air on the TV show will meet in the finals. That fight will have odds later in the week, and since the Finals will be used to crown the official UFC Straw-Weight Champion. This was the first season of the reality show to feature the women for all 16 fighter slots, so the weight class will kick off with a lot of depth.
