Rocket League’s New Basketball Mode to Debut in April
Rocket League, the game that features car soccer, has been a mega hit since its release in July 2015. There have been downloadable content add-ons like the DeLorean (from the Back to the Future movie series) and the Batmobile (this version is from the Batman vs. Superman movie released this month), as well as the addition of new game modes.

Along with the usual soccer version of Rocket League, developer Psyonix has added “Snow Day,” which makes the field ice instead of grass or concrete, and switches out the ball for a puck, changing Rocket League from soccer with cars to hockey with cars. The latest new mode to be released was “Rocket Labs,” which changed the layout of the arena from the traditional oval-shaped one, to three very unorthodox arenas.

About a month ago, Psyonix teased a new basketball mode to be added to the game, to go along with the hype and excitement involved with March Madness. Other than the announcement and a teaser image, there were no details about the game’s newest mode. Earlier today (March 29, 2016), Psyonix shared a gif on Twitter (seen below) along with the news that the mode will be called “Dunk House.”

The mode makes the goal shaped more like a hoop than a traditional soccer goal, so if you need to work on your aerial hits, get practicing. Dunk House will be available for all platforms (PS4, Xbox One, and PC) this April.
