Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver Stefon Diggs has been fined over $200,000 by the team for unexcused absences from practices and meetings, according to an ESPN report. Diggs did not show up for team meetings on Monday and Tuesday along with two practices, adding on to the drama that began with Diggs reportedly wanting out of Minnesota.

Diggs is still expected to play in Sunday’s game against the New York Giants and the Vikings are not currently trying to trade him, despite the events of the past week. ESPN reports that the team may however, open up trade talks in the offseason.
Diggs fanned the flames to the reports about him wanting a trade in a press conference earlier in the week when he said “there is truth to all rumors.”

NFL teams that have inquired about Diggs believe that there is a small chance Minnesota does give in and trade him before the deadline, but acknowledge it would take “an offer they can’t refuse.”
