Back in January, Warren Stapp still had a job and maybe a modicum of pride, but a Feb. 2 arrest for assaulting a prostitute in Phoenix, Ariz. ended both of those things for good. If you think it’s dumb for a rich former professional athlete that’s on television to pay for sex, then prepare yourself. Because Warren Sapp is even a bigger moron than you think.
The Godless bastards at TMZ somehow got hold of Sapp’s police interrogation video and published it on Youtube Monday. In it, it seems, that Sapp is trying to weasel his way out of an assault charge, or even a solicitation charge, by throwing the two prostitutes under the bus in the interrogation room. Instead of walking, as he’d obviously planned with his candor, the police used the video as a confession and charged him with soliciting a prostitute.

The 2013 Hall of Fame inductee was in Phoenix to cover the Super Bowl for the NFL Network. It never happened, because Sapp got fired right after his arrest. Sadly, there’s no word on how Sapp’s photos or videos of the evening’s events turned out.
