According to multiple reports, the New Orleans Pelicans hired Brooklyn Nets assistant general manager Trajan Langdon to serve as General Manager under new executive vice president of basketball operations David Griffin.
Langdon had been the Nets GM since 2016 and he helped rebuild Brooklyn into a squad that qualified for the Eastern Conference playoffs as a sixth seed this season after finishing last in the East two seasons earlier.

Damian Lillard Reportedly Playing Western Conference Finals With Separated Ribs | Complex
The Portland Trail Blazers suffered a defeat to the Golden State Warriors in large part because Damian Lillard was not at top of his game. Lillard finished the tilt with just 19 points and was 5-18 from the floor but he’s played with separated ribs through the series.

Rockets not bringing back defensive guru Bzdelik | ESPN
Jeff Bzdelik will not be back with the Rockets.
“Jeff’s contract was up. It will not be renewed,” Rockets general manager Daryl Morey told the Houston Chronicle. “We’re looking for any way to improve. That goes for players, coaches, front office, everything.”
Jeff Bzdelik, the Rockets associate head coach who guided the defensive improvement last season, was let go today, a person with knowledge of the decision said.

Iguodala sits out 4th with sore calf; MRI on Sunday | ESPN
Andre Iguodala spent just 17 minutes on the floor in Golden State’s 110-99 win because he injured his left calf and will have an MRI on Sunday.
“He was sore,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said after Iguodala played just 17 minutes, 33 seconds in Game 3. “Lower leg, just had some soreness. He’s going to get an MRI tomorrow. We didn’t want to risk anything and put him back in the game. So, when we took him out mid-third, trainer said that’ll be it for him. We’ll know more tomorrow.”
