People love new uniforms. For whatever reason, uniforms receive a ton of attention, and when a new uniform is announced it takes over that school’s social media banter for days on end. The Washington Huskies announced that they were switching from Nike to Adidas yesterday, and the new uniform unveiling was supposed to take place on July 10. However, it seems like the new uniforms have already leaked. Pictures were uploaded to the school’s Reddit page, and all indications are that those pictures are the real deal. Most of the reaction has been positive, with the gold pants and dark blue jersey combination receiving the most love.

Underdog Dynasty focuses on the smaller schools in college football, and one of their contributors has been at work listing a countdown of the best players in Conference USA. The top 10 players in the conference have now been listed, and No. 1 on the list is no surprise to anyone that follows CUSA. North Texas’ Mason Fine has put up unbelievable numbers during his first three seasons in Denton. Fine was one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the country last season, and the school has launched a website to promote Fine’s Heisman Trophy campaign. It’s not likely that Fine has a real chance, but he certainly deserves more recognition than he has received.

This story from Bruce Feldman on Mario Verduczo is well worth your time. Verduczo is a relatively unknown name, but he is going to be heralded as a quarterback guru in the very near future. Scott Frost is a total believer in Verduczo, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Adrian Martinez post some big numbers this year under his watch. If Martinez does have a breakout year, Verduczo is going to be a well-known name throughout the college football world.
For decades Mario Verduzco has been on a mission to fix the way QBs are coached. As his track record gets more impressive by the year, people would be wise to start listening to him—and to the science: https://t.co/MxFW3YkeL4
