The Jaguars come into this Sunday AFC matchup as the underdog and they’re currently receiving 5 points. Back in Week 15, Minnesota knocked off this Miami crew by a score of 41-17. The Dolphins defensive unit allowed the Vikings to rush for 220 yards on 40 attempts, including three rush TDs. Dalvin Cook was on a different level for Minnesota, recording 136 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 19 attempts. For Miami, Ryan Tannehill completed 11-of-24 passes for 108 yards. Kalen Ballage (123 yards on 12 rush attempts, one TD) handled the running game as Danny Amendola (three receptions, 30 yards) and Kenyan Drake (three catches, 28 yards) led the receiving corps in the loss.

Each team has a similar run-pass ratio on the season. Jacksonville’s run the ball on 43.2 percent of its offensive possessions while Miami has an overall rush percentage of 45.0. The Jaguars have run for 112 yards per game and have six touchdowns on the ground this year. The Dolphins are totaling 113 rush yards per game and have seven total rushing TDs.

The Jags offense has averaged 227 yards in the air overall and has 15 passing TDs so far. The Dolphins have put up 215 pass yards per game and have 24 total pass scores.
