Lamar Miller had a good showing in the win, recording 133 rushing yards and a score on 18 attempts for Houston. For Miami, Brock Osweiler completed 21-of-37 passes for 241 yards and one interception. Kenyan Drake (58 rushing yards on 12 attempts, one TD) and Frank Gore (53 yards on 12 carries) handled the running game as DeVante Parker (six receptions, 134 yards) and Danny Amendola (five catches, 43 yards) led the pass-catching attack in the loss.
New York has run the ball on 46.9 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Miami has a rush percentage of 43.2 percent. The Jets have produced 114 rush yards per game (including 42 per game versus East opponents) and have six touchdowns on the ground this year. The Dolphins are averaging 108 rush yards per game (96 in conference) and have three total rushing TDs.
The Jets offense has averaged 213 yards through the air overall (334 per game against conference opposition) and has 11 passing scores so far. The Dolphins have recorded 243 pass yards per game (151.5 against AFC competition) and have 16 total pass TDs.

In the other huddle, Brock Osweiler has completed 53-of-86 passes for 656 yards, four TDs and three INTs. Osweiler’s ANY/A sits at 6.66 for the season and 5.89 over his last two games.
The Dolphins also prefer to keep their running backs involved. In addition to Kenyan Drake (182 receiving yards, two receiving TDs), DeVante Parker (174 receiving yards) and Danny Amendola (253 receiving yards) have gotten a lot of touches recently.
