Oakland is a live dog and is currently getting 4 points in this game. The Raiders are also receiving +140 moneyline odds while the 49ers are -160. There will probably be multiple good in-game betting opportunities in the matchup, and oddsmakers have set the over/under (O/U) at 47.5 points.

The game’s total has swung up after opening at 47. The original line of -4 has yet to change.

The Raiders have lost 5.0 units so far and are 2-5 against the spread (ATS). The team has posted an O/U record of 3-4. The 49ers have lost 7.0 units for moneyline bettors this season. They’re 2-6 ATS and own an O/U record of 5-3.

The Raiders are 1-6 straight up (SU) in 2018 while the 49ers are 1-7 SU.

The Raiders are hoping to get back on track after a 42-28 defeat to Indianapolis last week. The passing game was sharp as Derek Carr completed 21 passes on 28 attempts for 244 yards and three touchdowns. Doug Martin (72 rushing yards on 13 attempts) led the ground attack. Jalen Richard (eight receptions, 50 yards) and Jared Cook (four catches, 74 yards, one TD) handled the receiving duties in the defeat.

Back in Week 8, Arizona got the win against this San Francisco crew by a score of 18-15. The Niners defensive secondary let the Cardinals air it out for 252 yards and two touchdowns. Larry Fitzgerald put up a good showing, recording 102 yards on eight catches for Arizona. For San Francisco, C.J. Beathard completed 14-of-28 passes for 190 yards and one touchdown. Matt Breida (42 yards on 16 rush attempts) handled the running game while Kendrick Bourne (seven receptions, 71 yards) and George Kittle (five catches, 57 yards) led the receiving attack in the loss.

Oakland’s run the ball on 38.3 percent of its offensive possessions this year while San Francisco has an overall rush percentage of 46.3 percent. The Raiders have produced 94 rush yards/game and have four touchdowns on the ground this year. The Niners are logging 134 rushing yards per game and have four total rush TDs.

It seems like the Niners might own an edge in terms of efficiency in the ground game. Their running backs has logged 4.8 yards per carry while their defense is allowing a YPC of 4.0 to opponents. The Raiders have rushed for 4.1 yards per carry while allowing 4.9 yards per rush attempt to opponents.

The Raiders offensive scheme has logged 290 yards per game in the air overall and has 10 passing scores so far. The Niners have produced 246 pass yards per contest and have 13 total pass TDs.

Defensively, Oakland has let opponents run for an average of 145 yards and throw for 270 yards per game. The San Francisco defense has given up 275.5 yards per game to opposing passers and 102.9 yards per game on the ground. The Niners are giving up an adjusted net yards per pass attempt (ANY/A) of 7.48 to opponents, while the Raiders have allowed a staggering 8.95 ANY/A.

Offensively, Carr is up to 1,885 passing yards this season. He’s connected on 72 percent of his 230 attempts with 10 scores through the air and eight interceptions. Carr’s got a 6.90 adjusted net yards per pass attempt, including 6.31 over the last two outings.

The Raiders will probably try to control tempo by feeding their running backs early and often. Jalen Richard (43 rush yards, 255 receiving yards) and Doug Martin (171 rush yards) have been big focal points in the offensive gameplans for Oakland.

On the other sideline, C.J. Beathard has connected on 87-of-142 passes for 1,082 yards, seven TDs and five INTs. Beathard’s ANY/A sits at 5.82 for the season and 3.50 over his past two outings.

The Niners also like to keep their RBs involved. In addition to George Kittle (486 receiving yards, one receiving TD), Raheem Mostert (116 rush yards) and Marquise Goodwin (seven rush yards, 235 receiving yards, four TDs) have gotten quite a few touches lately.
