For the first time in three weeks, our FCS plays failed to win you money. We had just two plays last week and split to go 1-1. South Dakota State had no trouble continuing to put up big numbers with a 36-7 win over Youngstown State, but the over in Chattanooga versus Western Carolina never had a chance. Although you lost vig if you followed our FCS college football betting picks last week, you are still up an incredible amount of money this year. Through seven weeks, the FCS plays at GetMoreSports are 15-4-1 against the NCAAF betting line.
Let’s get back to winning this week. Here are the FCS College Football Betting Odds:
Week 1 Record: 3-1 ATS
Week 2 Record: 3-0 ATS
Week 3 Record: 1-1 ATS
Week 4 Record: 1-1-1 ATS
Week 5 Record: 3-0 ATS
Week 6 Record: 3-0 ATS
Week 7 Record: 1-1 ATS

Columbia +18 vs. Dartmouth
This is the first time we have bet an Ivy League game this season. On paper, Dartmouth has been fantastic. The Big Green have looked sharp on both offense and defense, and they have flattened most of their opponents. However, this point spread is just too high as there are some good reasons to be skeptical about Dartmouth.
First, this team has not exactly played the cream of the crop in terms of opponents. The three teams Dartmouth played in non-conference play are nothing special, and the Big Green got to run up big numbers in those games.

Additionally, the Big Green have really been helped by turnovers. They have forced more turnovers per game than any other team in the FCS, and those opportunities have fueled their success. It’s unlikely they will continue to procure them at such a high rate though, and Columbia have one of the most experienced coaches in the game in Al Bagnoli. He will find some weaknesses in this Dartmouth team.
East Tennessee State +3.5 at Wofford
East Tennessee State is looking to make the FCS playoffs for the first time since bringing back football. The Buccaneers might just be the best team in the Southern Conference. They are sitting at 6-1 with their lone loss coming at the hands of Tennessee, and they are already 4-0 in conference play. Incredibly, all four of their conference wins have come by either two or three points, so they know how to keep games close.
This week, the Buccaneers are in an enviable position. Although Wofford is a solid team that often grinds opponents into submission with its triple option, East Tennessee State will be more than ready for it. They faced The Citadel, another team that runs the triple option, last week, so it won’t catch them off-guard like it does other teams. That’s a huge advantage, and that will make it easier for the defense to make the right reads.
Wofford can’t move the ball through the air, so the Terriers can’t even loosen things up by throwing some passes to try to make the Buccaneers respect it. Instead, they will be running into the teeth of a defense that is allowing just 2.5 yards per carry, and that is unlikely to bode well.
