William & Mary Tribe – Northeastern Huskies Preview – 02.04.2016

Colonial Athletic foes will lock horns when the Northeastern Huskies (12-11) challenge the William & Mary Tribe (15-6) at Matthews Arena. Action begins at 7:00 pm ET on Thursday, Feb. 4.

The Huskies are hoping to rebound after their 71-67 loss to Elon in their last matchup. David Walker was the game’s leading scorer with 25 points. The Tribe, meanwhile, are coming off a 68-62 win against James Madison in their last game. Omar Prewitt played well for William & Mary, accounting for 16 points, five steals, and five rebounds.

When examining eFG%, the Tribe appear to have a noticeable advantage on the offensive side. They’re ranked 19th in the nation in that category at 55.3%, while the suspect defense of Northeastern ranks only 286th in eFG% defense as opponents are hitting 51.7%.
