The World Series of Fighting has announced WSOF 10 for the Hard Rock in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 21st.  The card will feature three title bouts, though only two were announced:   David Branch against Jesse “JT Money” Taylor for the inaugural middleweight title and featherweight kingpin Georgi “Insane” Karakhanyan defends his belt against Rick “The Gladiator” Glenn.  The third match is yet to be announced.

In the middleweight bout, look for Jesse Taylor to come in the favorite over David Branch.  Taylor is riding a solid 7 fight winning streak, which includes a win over Elvis Mutapcic at the WSOF 7 event last December and is an experienced veteran who has had a high level of competition throughout his career.  Branch has run off a 3 fight winning streak in the WSOF, winning three unanimous decisions at WSOF 1, 2 and 5.  Look for Taylor to win the decision, as this fight looks like it is going the distance on paper.

Both men have former UFC contender Yushin Okami waiting in the wings.  Okami is already 1-0 under the WSOF banner, and despite his lack of charisma, is probably the most talented Middleweight on the rosters.  Also potentially impacting the weight class is the arrival of new signee Jake Shields.

The featherweight bout between Georgi Karakhanyan and Rick Glenn should be a barn burner.   Karakhanyan has reeled of 9 wins in a row, including 2 submission wins with the WSOF.  His two most recent losses, in Bellator to Joe Warren and Patricio Freire, which are nothing to be ashamed of.  Glenn is 11-01 in his last 12 bouts, but he really has not faced the level of competition of Karakhanyan.  Look for the champion to be a favorite when the line hits the sportbooks.  For this fight, which is a five rounder, it will be interesting to see what the over/under is, as both men have the talent to finish with their striking or their submission game.

The rest of the card is yet to be announced, and the matches pending includes a third title fight for the WSOF as the group continues to move quickly to fill its roster and belts.
