Wrestlemania 32 Odds – The WWE’s biggest show takes place this Sunday, April 3rd as Wrestlemania 32 invades AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The night’s main event will be WWE World Champion Triple H against challenger Roman Reigns. Triple H is 46-years-old and an executive with the WWE and his full time days in the ring are long past. Reigns is a third generation performer from a revered wrestling family and is seen as the future of the company. For several years, Reigns has been groomed for the top spot and the time is now. Something weird would have to happen for Reigns to not emerge as champion. But then again, this is wrestling!
The match between Shane McMahon and the Undertaker is getting a lot of attention and is a near pick ’em fight at the books. The Undertaker is now 51-years-old and at the end of his wrestling days. However, it is unfathomable for him to lose to a non-wrestler in what may well be his farewell appearance. But Shane McMahon is the owner’s son, and the storyline has Shane returning to rescue the WWE from Triple H, Stephanie McMahon (Shane’s sister) and the “Authority” that runs the show. Unfortunately, that Authority story line is very stale at this point and needs air which has given some steam to McMahon’s challenge. Despite being 46-years-old and a non-wrestler, McMahon assaulted the Undertaker on Monday Night Raw, which left him lying on the announcers’ table, and hit him with a flying elbow off the top rope (see photo). A side thought: could Sting get involved?
Another near pick ’em bout is set up between Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose. Ambrose has really tuned in a high-level performance playing the nut that never gives up. A careful study of both characters reveals the obvious – Lesnar must win to retain his “Beast Incarnate” persona, while Ambrose only has to keep doing what he is doing and his character will emerge more popular than ever, despite a loss.
The last lineup at the sport books is for the three-way match for the Divas Title. In that match, Sasha Banks appears set to start her title reign with a victory over Charlotte, the daughter of legend Ric Flair, who has elevated the Divas belt to new heights. Becky Lynch is there to serve as a dark horse.
