WWE Elimination Chamber Odds The World Wrestling Entertainment group’s “Elimination Chamber” Pay-per-view is this Sunday night live from Las Vegas, Nevada. It is the last PPV event before the WWE’s marquee Wrestlemania event on April 8th from the SuperDome in New Orleans.
The Elimination Chamber match for 2018 has added a seventh man, but this one looks like a set-up to deliver the long talked about Roman Reigns versus Brock Lesnar match at Wrestlemania. Stalwart John Cena is in the Chamber, and he is hunting a record tying 16th reign as world champion. The books may be underestimating Cena’s star power and pull within the company and he may have some value at +2000. The rest of the field sports wide odds.
But the WWE has spent several year’s developing Reigns. he has held the belt and headlined Wrestlemania before, but he battle between him and Lesnar has been building for years. There is word that Lesnar’s contract is up after Wrestlemania and he may once again drift over to the UFC for a payday or two. As he nears 40, Lesnar’s window of opportunity in MMA gets smaller, so he could very well take a headline fight for the UFC before the year is up. With Lesnar off again, Reigns is expected to carry the flag.
The WWE has really stepped up their presentation of the women’s side of things over the last few years and 2018 sees the first ever Elimination Chamber lowered for the ladies.
Look for the field of competitors in the Women’s Elimination Chamber to give it their all. With Alexa Bliss defending her belt, the plan was probably to have this yield the Bliss vs Charlotte Flair champion vs champion bout, but there is a huge x-factor now in the ladies division.
You can start looking for Ronda Rousey to begin making appearances and some sort of silent stare down with the winner could be in the works. There could even be some type of physical confrontation with Rousey as word is that she is training. Expect the Wrestlemania opponent for Charlotte Flair to come out of this pile up, but whether it is Bliss, or Rousey or the Royal Rumble winner Asuka is all up in the air.
Asuka will be facing the giant Nia Jax in a bout that looks designed to help the Japanese star keep momentum as she heads into Wrestlemania.
