WWE No Mercy PPV Odds – The WWE is set for their next PPV, called “No Mercy” on Sunday, October 9th and the sports books have listed lines for most of the line-up. The WWE continues churning out a PPV offering every two weeks, alternating between the”Raw” and “Smackdown” brands. This is the second PPV under the “Smackdown” banner and the live event goes down at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.
The main event sees the WWE world title in play between champion AJ Styles as he faces both Dean Ambrose and John Cena in a “Triple Threat” match where any pin of any man results in the winner walking away with the title belt. Styles is a newcomer to the WWE but the former independent circuit superstar has quickly and seamlessly adapted to the top of the WWE roster. He took the belt from Ambrose, who though a popular champion who had a good run is unlikely to get the belt back. When Styles arrived, he feuded with Cena and now that he has the WWE belt in hand, Cena comes back into the picture. With Cena’s history as the top face in WWE for the last ten years, his presence in the match could signal yet another run as world champion. Nevertheless the books have installed Styles as a prohibitive favorite.
The Miz versus Dolph Ziggler pits two of the WWE’s young, veteran talents against each other. Ziggler is perhaps the hardest worker on the roster and is a dream to go against because he makes his opponents look good. He is a crowd pleaser that is usually a lock for a great performance, so it is a bit strange that Ziggler is in a “retirement” match where he has put his WWE career on the line.
Randy Orton faces off against Bray Wyatt in a match that sees a competitive line pop up at the sports books. The truth is this match could go either way, as a feud between the two men will likely take some time to develop. Wyatt hit Orton first but Orton has been on the offensive making up ground launching attacks in recent weeks. Orton is in a strange situation as the idea of matching him up with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam did not pan out for the WWE.
