WWE Extreme Rules Odds For Sunday May 22nd PPV

WWE Extreme Rules Odds

WWE Extreme Rules Odds – This Sunday, May 22nd, the World Wrestling Entertainment’s latest PPV, Extreme Rules, comes to us from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The WWE has put a lot behind this PPV after Wrestlemania with some new faces and some new storylines.

The main event sees WWE heavyweight titleholder Roman Reigns lock up with AJ Styles. The two first met at PAYBACK after this year’s Wrestlemania and they will likely brawl through the summer. Styles is a fresh face in the WWE,’ but the company seems to have acknowledged his respected indy resume and given him a prolonged title run. Styles “team”, called “The Bullet Club”, has also come aboard to the WWE, though Gallows and Anderson look like they could be bit players in the long run. Styles is not, but he won’t win the belt here.

Credit should also go to Charlotte and the Divas division. Charlotte, the daughter of legend Ric Flair, has adapted well to the role of heel and, with her father by her side, they have elevated the division. With Natalya, she is facing one of the veterans on the roster and they have shown good chemistry in the ring. Awaiting Charlotte are feuds with younger talent such as Sasha Banks, but the women’s division is now must-see wrestling.

The Miz will be defending his Intercontinental title in a fatal four way against Kevin Owens, Cesaro, and Sami Zayn. All the challengers have come up from the NXT roster, with Zayn being the latest addition. The Miz being inserted back in the title picture after a long period as a bit player was a bit of a surprise, but he has risen to the occasion and fought better than ever. Zayn is the latest addition to the roster from NXT and he has fought through the roof, but going home with the title this early in his WWE run is unlikely. Owens already had a title reign while Cesaro has been on fire since his return from injury.

How the WWE will deal with all the new talent on board when veterans John Cena, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins (all former WWE champions) return is one of the interesting questions that the WWE will try to answer in the months leading up to Summer Slam.
