Welcome back to the weekly Get More Sports WWE Power Rankings, where we rank the top 25 WWE Superstars based on their impact, performance, and momentum. This week was dominated by women’s wrestling, with every possible show featured its female Superstars in the main event. There were also big developments on Raw, SmackDown, and 205 Live leading to Great Balls of Fire and Battleground.
- Samoa Joe (+0)
Thanks to his feud with Brock Lesnar, Samoa Joe sits comfortably on top of this list. When Lesnar made his appearance on Raw, Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch and wouldn’t let go until Gallows and Anderson pulled him off. - Big Cass (+0)
For a brief moment, it looked like Big Cass was truly regretful for his attack on Enzo Amore a couple weeks ago. They hugged it out, did the “SAWFT” chant, and left happy. That is until Cass clotheslined ‘Zo on the entrance ramp then threw him down the entire thing. - Carmella (+0)
After having her Money in the Bank briefcase relinquished because of a controversial victory, Carmella ended up winning the redo of the match this week on SmackDown Live. She is the only Superstar to win two back-to-back Money in the Bank Ladder Matches other than CM Punk. - Nia Jax (+21)
This week, Nia Jax proved a lot of her naysayers wrong with an incredible performance. Not only did she defeat four women in the Gauntlet Match, but she also put on a great match against Sasha Banks at the end. - Braun Strowman (+3)
After returning from injury last week, Braun Strowman has picked up right where he left off with Roman Reigns. Strowman threw Reigns into the side of an ambulance before locking him inside of one. If he does this in a couple week, he wins their Ambulance Match. - Akira Tozawa (+6)
This has been a great week for Akira Tozawa, even though he didn’t have any matches. He finally partnered with the Titus Brand, who gave him a Cruiserweight Championship match at Great Balls of Fire. On 205 Live, Tozawa sent Neville reeling after a brief confrontation. - The Miz (+4)
Even though The Miz has seemingly been having marital issues with Maryse, he is finding more success on Raw. Recruiting his Miz-tourage of Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel has helped him gain the edge over Dean Ambrose, including a six-man tag team match victory this week. - Asuka (-)
In the main event of NXT, Asuka had perhaps her toughest NXT Women’s Championship defense to date. She defeated Nikki Cross in a Last Woman Standing Match, barely getting her feet up before the referee’s count of 10. - Sasha Banks (-)
In the Gauntlet Match, Sasha Banks drew the lucky spot of entering the match last. While it was no easy feat, Banks defeated an exhausted Nia Jax with the Bank Statement to become the new #1 Contender for Alexa Bliss’ Raw Women’s Championship. - Finn Balor (+3)
On Raw, Finn Balor teamed up with the Hardy Boyz in a dream team against Sheamus, Cesaro, and Elias Samson. Balor would end up scoring the pinfall for his team by covering Cesaro. - Nikki Cross (-)
Even though Nikki Cross failed to capture the NXT Women’s Championship, her performance this week was incredible. On top of that, she has probably come the closest to dethroning the undefeated champion, Asuka. - Mustafa Ali (+10)
Last week, Mustafa Ali defeated Drew Gulak by using his own ground-based offense against him. This week, Gulak tried to take a page out of Ali’s playbook, but Ali knew better and picked up the win. - Hideo Itami (-)
It takes a tough man to battle Oney Lorcan. It takes a really tough man to get his nose broken by Lorcan, to come back to the ring, and to win the match. Itami did all of that this week on NXT. - Naomi (-)
For the second time, Naomi has retained her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Lana. This week, she essentially won a squash match, but since Lana’s shoulder was up during the pin, she will have to do it all again next week. - Baron Corbin (-)
Corbin needed a win to capitalize on the momentum of winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, and he did just that this week against Sami Zayn. - Kevin Owens (+1)
The Face of America didn’t compete on SmackDown Live this week, but he had a tremendous segment on Talking Smack with Daniel Bryan and Renee Young. - Seth Rollins (-)
This week’s match against Curt Hawkins was essentially a training session for Seth Rollins. Rollins defeated him with no problem, showing off his new jumping knee finishing move. - The Hardy Boyz (+2)
Alongside Finn Balor, The Hardy Boyz picked up a victory over Sheamus, Cesaro, and Elias Samson that will help them towards capturing the Raw Tag Team Championships. - Ariya Daivari (-)
The Personification of Persian Privilege turned his losing streak around this week. Thanks to a distraction from Noam Dar, Ariya Daivari defeated the red-hot Cedric Alexander. - The New Day (-16)
After the New Day announced themselves as the new #1 Contenders for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships, they out-promoed the Usos. - Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel (-)
It has already shown that Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel have benefitted from aligning themselves with The Miz. After assaulting Dean Ambrose last week, they scored a six-man tag team victory this week, with Dallas getting the pinfall. - The Brian Kendrick (-)
After being away from a few weeks following a loss to Akira Tozawa, The Brian Kendrick returned as a parody of Jack Gallagher. Using his own version of William III, Kendrick would purposely disqualify himself to assault Gallagher. - Goldust (-)
It seemed like this week would be the big clash between Goldust and R-Truth. Instead, Goldust attacked R-Truth before their match could ever begin while having his own personal cameraman film the whole beatdown. - The Usos (-)
While their promo with the New Day might have made absolutely no sense, The Usos did pick up a victory over the Hype Bros in the beginning of the night. - Velveteen Dream (-)
In a dominant victory over Hoho Lun this week, Velveteen Dream has continued to build momentum for himself while showing off his athleticism and eccentric character.
