Didi Gregorius is a welcome sight for the Yankees as he returns from injury Friday night, but it turns out he has some awesome talents aside from baseball. He shows off his artistic ability in today’s top social media posts. Elsewhere, Thursday was the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion, and the Braves have a special man to honor. Then Friday is National Donut Day, and that means something entirely different in baseball. Oh, and the Cubs signed Craig Kimbrel. Did you hear? Apparently they were the last to know (wink, wink).
Didi can hit, run, field and throw. He also can put together complicated digital presentations to mark his return from injury? So this is the new five-tool player.

There aren’t too many D-Day veterans left, and we should take every opportunity to honor and thank the ones we have.

And now for something completely different. A donut in baseball isn’t quite as delicious as a regular donut, but it’s a welcome sight for another reason.

Elsewhere, Craig Kimbrel signed with the Cubs, and everybody knew that. But the Cubs had to wait for him to arrive in Chicago and pass a physical before saying so.

Major League Baseball comes to London for the first time later this month, and the sport is making sure it markets itself appropriately. Or something.
